Amazing book

Absolutely loved another book from this author. Hoping there’s a Book 4! It was exciting and as usual I loved the characters.

How far will a mother go for her family?

After reading Dead Pit in June the story was a challenge for me because it represented the first time in a very long time where I had a love hate feeling about a story – as you will see from my original review included below, and that hate emotion had nothing to do with the story sucking, in fact Dead Pit is a very well written action-packed story with characters I have become attached to. Now about a month after reading the story I have listened to Molly Secours excellent narration of the audiobook version and while I’m still having my original dilemma, I’m leaning in favor of the love category but there is still that incident that makes me want to hate the story. If you want t know what evokes this emotion, you need to read the book to figure out what I’ talking about.

I’m torn about whether to love or hate Dead Pit, its filled with intense action and the characters have begun to really resemble a family – dysfunctional at the best of times, but a family none the less, so why the hate? You need to read it for yourself and see. All I will say is get ready for the snow and some extreme action, not to mention being exposed to how far Morning Star will go to protect her family. Camille has this knack for writing stories that can be emotionally polarizing, and Dead Pit is one of those, in fact it may be the best example of her ability to shred your emotions. Ok, I do love the story, some parts much more than others. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from the author and chose to provide my review.

Wow, this installment of the series is soooo good. So many new characters and the story is super exciting and fast paced. The little family is in the run With plaguers on their tail and other groups wanting them it was non stop action. I honestly could not put this down!!! I am now going to wait impatiently for the next book❤️❤️

Excellent action and a great overall story!

Camille Picott contines a wonderful series with book 3, Dead Pit. The action starts where book 2 left off and it continues to get increasingly better! The characters continue to be further developed as well as the world we find them all in. A great mix of action, emotion, and results. I look forward to Camille's next series! Audio Version: Molly Secours continues to do a wonderful narrating the overall story and with each individual character, really bringing the story to life.
