Not Worth It !

I have 100's of books in my libary but do not often review many, this one however I was unable to return and got my blood boiling. spoilers here..... firstly I was disappointed that is was such a YA book in the beginning and was relieved that it became a more mature book later, but WOW this mafia kingpin... whatever you want to call him was a weak pathetic man, firstly let me tell you he has Parkinson's disease yip ... he shakes continuously throughout the book he has other ailments he sees black spots all the time, he is dizzy most of the time and can't hold himself up and walk properly or remember anything that happened... maybe a bit of Alzheimer's not sure as I am not a doctor but think I am on the right track.... there was no mafia story to this weak and pathetic, I listened to the end to see if it was going to get better, but clearly not and therefore am not able to return this book. If you like wishy washy romance, then this is the book for you

A lot of angst

I actually tried to return this book in the beginning but I’m glad it wouldn’t let me. IMO it has a slow start but it’s important for later in the story. I am emotionally sensitive so I just want to put this warning out there. The angst starts to increase towards the end of the first book.

SO good!

I was skeptical at first, but I absolutely loved both of these stories. It was suspenseful, sad, dramatic, and happy. I stayed on the edge of my seat and internally cheered and fought for Luca and Elese. Will definitely be one that I'll listen to more than once.

Jason Clarke is perfection

Jason Clarke is one of the best narrators and pair that with a great story and I ate up every minute!!

Loved this book!!!

This is such a good book. I loved Luca and a Elise, and how they were still faithful even after being apart for over ten years. So worth a credit.

So good!

#1 - Loved this! Hot forbidden Aladdin/Jasmine type romance, but no supernatural stuff, and they're teens. Some parts will pull at your heart strings 😢 and the resulting chaos pushes the H and h towards their paths. Ends on cliffhanger.
#2 - H🔥🥵🔥🥵🔥🥵T!!! That shower scene! Holy sweet baby Jeebus! *bites knuckles* They're adults now and their paths are in conflict. There's more action in this one and thankfully ends with a hea.

So much was missing.

Felt like more of a summary of a long book. Many pictures were missing, story line was great, but lacking; missed many parts and included things not so important. Could have been more.

Wonderful balance of love, lust, angst, heartbreak!

This boxset is so very beautiful and angsty! I fell in love with Luca and Elise. They have a long love history, the beginning was perfect teenage love, but then they had a heartbreak and distance. Later on they got together for a short time, whenever they could sneak time together without anyone knowing. It seemed impossible that they’d get to be together, but at the very end they got their HEA.

This story was perfect, had a wonderful balance of love, lust, angst, heartbreak. It had everything. Loved it!

What a story!!!

Jason Clarke is fantastic as always,so was Carly! This story
has alot of young love, hiding from Parents, Luca getting
dragged Into a life he doesn't want. As they are torn apart
its years before they meet again. True love can overcome
so much. Get ready for the drama they have to Indure,but
the ending is fantastic.

Beautiful love Journey

I was captivated from the very beginning, couldn't stop listening. Their love is so passionate and you really feel the emotions by the awesome narration. worth the credit. I wish the author would continue their story cause I need more of them!!!
