"Martin Jarvis' readings of Richmal Crompton's Just William stories are works of genius." (The Independent)
Timeless stories which are tremendously well written. What wonderful use of the English language. you will get addicted to these funny and charming short stories.
i really enjoyed these tales. very funny and relaxing to listen to. Was very amusing and well read.
"My boys loved it - laugh out loud funny"
This is a great book, certainly one we would rank highly
Whilst this is an old book therefore the language is dated, it still works and is fun!
We all JUST love 'Just William' Witty and charming like the main character! My Son is eight and has grown up enjoying the audio books he's now getting some of the jokes which went over his head in previous years and is able to join in with my husband and myself when we laugh out loud at the daft scenarios that William gets himself into. Our youngest is four and still misses the main points of laughter but can enjoy from more basic level.
Every story is full of laughter and depth.
All of the books are wonderful and we have enjoyed on many a long car journey.
"Just William's Greatest Hits! Review"
It was really funny and made you ache with laughter.
My favourite character was William because he is always coming up with silly and funny ideas wich 99% of the time fail.
I enjoyed the scene were this little girl William knows run away from school in a disguise of a teachers coat and one of the older girls wigs according to the story she looked ridiculous.
Nothing Martin Jarvis is a brilliant narrator and didn't slip on anything.
I would reccomed this audio book to anybody from the age of 7-12 a guaranteed laugh!
"Just William's Greatest Hits -a perfect narration!"
I always loved reading about William Brown when I was little and now I love listening as Martin Jarvis's marvellous rendition brings him and the Outlaws to life. It's a wonderful audio- book. Buy it!!!
The only problem is that the network doesn't work very well and it suddenly turns off
It is very short
You listen to it over and over again and it is so boring
I really enjoyed revisiting Just William - reminds me of my childhood. Excellent narration from Martin Jarvis.
