Although Stoker did not invent the vampire, the novel's influence on the popularity of vampires has been singularly responsible for many theatrical, film and television interpretations since its publication. Required listening for any fan of the genre!

A bit robotic

What a monotone. Dull reading. This was a very one note sort of narration, not dynamic in expression in any way.

Doesn't stand test of time

Premise of story is good. Narrator did a great job. However too many repetitive mushy descriptions of how great the main characters are. Would have been an excellent short story.

Nicely done, great price.

I really enjoyed this audio edition - the narrator was not the most dramatic reader, but he did a fine job. Can't beat the price, either.

Marc 's narration was that of just one step above a computer. The sentences were fragmented, and monotone, except when he did foreign accents other than English. Those were very good!

How is this a classic?

The narrator did a good job. A single narrator did not take away from this book. This is the first book that I've read/listened that I can say "the movie was better. ". Any of the movies. I just don't see how this book inspired the big vampire craze. If you love the movies don't read the book; keep you memories untarnished.

If you must read this is a good economic choice. The narrator does a good job & the pice is worth the pain.

Surprisingly good

I wasn't sure what to expect in this audio production, it was followed pretty well. My only problem being Professor Van Helsing, who just dronednon, and on, and on, and on. It got to be SO RIDICULOUS?

I had to start fast forward thru his incessant and podantic droning. That and the odd way in which he speaks, really started to irritate me after so many hours.

But otherwise? I loved it. Very entertaining.😁👍
