exactly what you would to look for in a light read

quiet a pleasant and funny series of stories depicting the life and nature of the well to do in England and the US in the 1920s

Martin Jarvis give a remarkably endearing performance with a wide range from a cheery aristocratic baffoon to a starving artist with the voice of Jimmy Stewart to a surprisingly wide variety of stuffy disapproving aunts

Martin Jarvis is a master as the put upon valet

If you like British books that take the landed gentry down a peg, you will love these books-- as long as Martin Jarvis is the narrator. His dry humor is a great foil for the entitled, clueless, Bertie Wooster.

Very Funny!

Wonderfully entertaining stories and excellent reading by Martin Jarvis, who creates convincingly different characters. These stories are a great way to pass some time.

Martin Jarvis is a genius

Wodehouse is funny enough in print, but Jarvis is absolutely hysterical. This is as great an audiobook reading as I've ever heard.

Great Reader!

Martin Jarvis brings this material to life in a way that justifies listening to, rather than reading, it.

Great for an humorous escape

Jeeves is great when the world has become a bit too much to take and you need to laugh a bit.

Standard Jeeves – highly amusing stories

A spot of PG Wodehouse and Jeeves is almost always good for the soul – and the funnybone :-). This particular one is actually a series of about four long stories of the Jeeves ilk, and this narrator was good. I'm not totally familiar with the shades of British accent, but this was satisfying.
For those who are not familiar with the PG Wodehouse Jeeves series, Jeeves is a gentlemen's gentleman for Bertie Wooster, a British man of leisure who is really kind of, somewhat stupid and has quite a knack of getting himself involved in ridiculous situations, either because of his stupidity or his need to make friends and make people happy. Jeeves is usually his ticket out.

Wonderful Fun!

Only a handful of books have made me laugh out loud, and Jeeves is right up there with the Vicar of Wakefield, Diary Of A Nobody, and Portney's Complaint for page after page of wry and clever wit. Wodehouse takes the reader on a lighthearted journey through the very British lives of Bernie and his omniscient man-servant Jeeves. Biting satires of proper society and rollicking tales of wacky family and fussy fiancees make for page-turning fun.

(I almost never comment on narrators, but this one did a superb job with the voices! "Yaaaeessss....")
