Phileas Fogg of London and his newly employed French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days on a £20,000 wager set by his friends at the Reform Club. One of Verne's most acclaimed works.

The narrator has a great voice, but his repeated and terrible mispronunciation of "monsieur" made me wince every time.
I know that this audio book was bargain-priced, but it ended up being worthless, because the audio is completely garbled/unintelligible beginning in Chapter 5.
I am a 30 year old over-the-road truck driver. I listen to A LOT of audiobooks!
If you like adventure books, you will love this one. In my opinion, this is by far the best book Jules Verne ever wrote. You will LOVE the twist at the end!
After about an hour, the audio begins to skip and is not understandable.
Need to be fixed.
"Beware; badly narrated"
The narrator has an extraordinary technique of narrating half the sentence, then pausing, then finishing the sentence. This he does for EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE. I still haven't decided if this is due to a poorly taught (or poorly understood) narration technique, or if he's not just not very good at, y'know...reading.
Either way avoid, there are much better unabridged options for this book.
