At the railway station, where his mother has arrived from St. Petersburg, Count Alexei Kirillovich Vronsky meets Anna Arkadyevna Karenina, the wife of Alexei Alexandrovich Karenin, an influential St. Petersburg statesman. This casual meeting makes an indelible impression on both of them. Vronsky is passionately in love with Anna, and she with him. As a married woman with an eight-year old son, she understands that she cannot - and should not - be interested in this brilliant young officer. She hopes that upon her return to St. Petersburg she will get peace of mind, forget everything, and become her usual self. But Anna cannot overcome the accidental passion unleashed by Vronsky, who follows her like a shadow and seeks her favor.

No. Great story but once is enough.
one of a kind for me
he is pretty good, but sometimes can get on my nerves
it is incredible how contemporary and relevant Tolstoy's writing is, despite everything....
And they had us read this in high school? Who in high school can ever relate to this?!!!
Please make it clear on your website that this is a Russian language version. If I had known this I would not have bought it, as I do not speak or understand Russian.
"Very thoughtful piece of work"
Great piece of work. Many thoughts coming in your head when reading Leo Nikolaevich, two different life stories with pretty same problem. Need loads of thinking
