Great cast of voices

This audio version is a good abridged version in both content and cast of voices.

Holy cow!

Not a huge fan of dramatized audiobooks but this was a really great version. Not cheesy at all, good narration, lesson to be learned for sure.

This is an enjoyable and engaging performance of this provocative classic. Good listening for all ages, which should lead to quality conversations!

it's- okay... just- okay

some was very entertaining, and boxer and squeeler were the best, but its a weak interpretation of the original animal farm. do yourself a favor and get the audiobook version.

love it! Narrators are amazing! love the songs also.The story is awesome,make me thinking alot.

Another Look at the Russian Revolution

The animals revolt against the humans led by the pigs is successful. There is happiness, there is joy, a new day is upon us. Then the slow slide of the new leaders into the same positions once occupied by those who came before them.
Animal Farm was George Orwell's take on the Bolshevik revolution; the socialists overthrow of the Tsar and his government. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and the leaders of the Russian people have traditionally been authoritarian. Animal Farm tells the story of the slow slide of the revolutionary who frees the people into the reactionary who enslaves them even deeper than did his predecessors. An excellent classic that holds up quite well.

A must read (listen)

Books like this are being lost to our society and are needed now more than ever. I highly recommend this for any teenager and adult.

A very tongh and cheek fairy tale!! !! Well read and spell binding!! The shorter version made it easier to listen to!! Good work

Enjoyed this.

The dramatization added to the story for me. it brought the characters to life. I also enjoyed the accents, but then again, I looovveee Downton Abbey so I might be biased.

I did enjoy hearing different voices for all of the different characters.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

There were times in my car listening that the volumes would go from soft to loud, and was hard to maintain a good balance.

Could you see Animal Farm [Dramatised] being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I am honestly surprised it hasn't been done already.
