For me, the story had me second guessing myself. It really sounds like the Butterfly series to me. I felt like this part of the story was kind of repetitive of what I’d already read in the other books. I love this series but this one didn’t do it for me.

Good book to fill in some of the missing pieces of Ethic and Lanika. Too bad the mom didn’t show for Christmas.

I was excited but then...
I’ve read all the Books leading up to the Okafors. I was late to the party, but all were read within an 8 month span. I was too excited when I saw this one, as I didn’t want the other stories to end.
Although it is good, it is disjointed. The babies were toddlers and Messiah was back in the last Ethic. I had a difficult tome forgetting what I last read so that I could engage in what I was currently reading. This would be perfectly fine if this was the first time I read Ethic’s story. But since I’m all invested, I was expecting a continuation of sorts. Kudos for bringing the story back.

I love these people like they are real
Ok no shade to the narrator but please do not have him do this again lol maybe he can flip the pages for the lady who normally reads 😂 Other thank that it was as great as the others. Keep them coming.
