Publisher's summary

Dragon slayer Bailey Monzac and her shifter lover Aidan are about to have their first holiday season together. They'd rather ignore the rest of the world this Christmas, but trouble is headed their way.

Murderous dragons are on the loose, and there's also the shifter mating festival Bailey and Aidan are obligated to attend. And on top of that? Her long-lost father is coming for a visit. She doesn't know much about him, but she does know he's a slayer who strikes fear in the hearts of dragons everywhere. There's no way he's going to approve of his daughter shacking up with one of the beasts - even one that is half human.

The presents may be under the tree, but yuletide cheer isn't on the calendar for Bailey and Aidan.

Short story --Must Read! Essential informaiton

Firstly, I must admit, I find most short stories or novellas disappointing. Don't yell yet--It is because the storylines are lacking and usually hold no importance to the storyline. I guess I want more from a short story then most authors offer. Again--this is ME--But you will find my reviews truthful.

The only authors I trust to come up with a good shorter story ( and this point is well proven) is Patricia Briggs, J R Ward, Faith Hunter and now Susan Illene.

This short story is really a continuation from book 3. It will tell you about situations that have already begun in previous books ---are leading to and how the changes effect the characters lives.
Questions answered are:
1) Where Bailey (slayer) and Aiden (shifter) are in their relationship.
2) What happens at the Mating Festival--and how that will change to Bailey and Aidan's life.
3) What about Dragamoss?
4) What about Wayne (Bailey's slayer father), when he shows up by surprise?
5) And we can't forget the major dragon fight--Biggest Dragons Ever Seen!!!!

You will just have to listen/read it all for yourself. So much information in a short story--great job. So worth the credit to listen/read to.

Excellently written, by Susan Illene and superbly narrated by Marguerite Gavin
