Excellent start to new series

Great new characters and magic - lots of interesting twists and turns. Can't wait for the next book! Update: I was able to get the Kindle version of the next book and it it GREAT! Can't wait for the Audible version.

Very Different

Can't wait to see what follows in the next book. Treachery abounds in the first book, expecting more of the same in the next, but this time we will get to know her father's people, who sound even more devious than her mother's folks.

World building

This book was amazing. Aliens, fights, different planets and a little romance. I want to read the next story right now.

Great Listen. I enjoyed the story, the characters, the sarcasm, the action and the last but certainly not least, the narration.

Great adventure with a side of sarcasm.

After listening to the Broken Lands series, I was excited to see that Audible had another series by T.A White available. I enjoyed this book just as much and can’t wait for the next book, which I already downloaded. Kira is a kick ass character, there is much sarcasm in this one. I also enjoyed all the side characters and can’t wait to see what is next in store for them all. Narrator was perfect for the character, but I will admit that she is a bit on the slow side, and it took a bit for her to catch my attention.

The main character is the type of person that will take a fist to the face before she tries to plead her own case.

enough busy to keep you interested

excellent storyline, have loved every book in the series and relistening now, just as good the second time! I love the narration, excellent voices for each character that help me keep track of who is actually speaking. it feels like there is just enough going on to keep you interested but not too much where I have to go back and listen again.

Loved it!

After reading the reviews I was apprehensive about downloading this book. The narrator can make or break a book in my opinion. This narrator got some very scathing remarks. After listening to her I understand but don't necessarily agree. She wasn't the best narrator I've heard but I've heard a lot worse. Looking forward to listening to others by this author and very excited to find another I truly like.
