Publisher's summary

All either of them wants for Christmas are some jingle bells, to deck the halls, and for everyone to stop finding them dates.

Macie Zimmerman would love to get married and start a family. But after so much searching, she's sick of having hope that something will work out. All she needs is a good six months of no dating—time she could spend building her business, Paws and Relax, and hanging out with the animals who show her all the love she needs—to be able to face it again. If only she can keep everyone in town from trying to find her a husband.

High school teacher Aaron Hall plans to never get married. He got engaged once, and it turned out as awful as his parents' marriage had. But that doesn't stop all his married friends from trying to convince him otherwise. And worst of all, his students are now determined to find him a wife before the end of the school year.

This Christmas, Macie and Aaron are teaming up to make everyone believe they're dating each other so they'll quit trying to line them up with others. But as this fake relationship takes them to holiday parties, events around town, and his school's winter formal, and "fake" starts to feel "real", can they overcome the obstacles in their way?

Pick up this fun, holiday-filled fake relationship romance today!

Come make yourself at home in Nestled Hollow where community becomes family and the romances are sweet, swoony, and chock-full of chemistry. Each interconnected stand-alone novel has its own happily ever after.

Such a sweet romance!

With the stress of a houseful of guests for the Thanksgiving week, listening to this sweet audiobook by Meg Easton helped me relax. Meg and Liz took me to the world of Nestled Hollow where Macie and Aaron decided to work together to create the illusion they were dating. The characters were wonderful and Macie's family is such a model for loving relationships. It was so much fun to watch these two friends grow as they dealt with one experience after another.

very cute story

The storyline is very cute as a fake dating romance. It's not realistic at all -but hey it's just for fun! I had a hard time remembering the ages of the characters as the storyline is very YA. Bit all in all it was a fun listen.

Aaron and Macie the couple that wasn’t

Macie wanted to be sure and have guarantees for her big decisions. Aaron had been burned when two relationships, his and his parents imploded spectacularly and had sworn off marriage. So to get everyone off setting them up they fake dated. Without the pressure they just had fun and things started feeling a little too real. Can true love exist and stay for the long haul? Clean. Good narration.

a great Christmas romance

I really enjoyed this book. The narration was great. I love the characters. Macy and Aaron are so fun together. I love the easy banter between them. Macy's family is large and crazy but so full of love. Aaron's students are hilarious. I love all of the fun Christmas related activities they participate in.

Great narrator for a cute Christmas romance.

This was such a sweet Christmas contemporary romance with likable characters, fun moments, and a cute love story. I enjoyed the narrator’s performance. Though it was a single narrator doing dual POV, she did a great job with both the female and male voices and I easily followed along and could distinguish whose perspective it was. I recommend this book and audiobook.

A fake relationship with family at its heart

As the youngest of a lot of siblings, and the last to be married, Macie gets a lot of pressure from the folks around her to find Mr. Right. Of course, that doesn't help the stress she already feels to find her elusive needle in a haystack. And given the major business decision she has to make, she decides to go on a dating hiatus, just to find a little peace in her life.

Of course, they always say, it's when you stop looking that you find someone. Aaron is the new teacher in town. He's been burned in the past and has NO interest in ever settling down. Yet his class has decided they're going to "help" him find a wife.

To avoid everyone's good intentions, Macie and Aaron decide to fake date, knowing that there's no chance of anything more developing since their goals are mutually exclusive.

Hilarity ensues from there, with plenty of "aww" moments to enjoy. My favorite part though is Macie's family's Christmas stocking tradition, and how it emphasizes that, as family, we are all connected.

Definitely a worthwhile return to one of my favorite small little towns.

I want to move to Nestled Hollow

I love this book. Macy and Aaron what a great story. The narration was great! I have tried to listen to audible books and it is hard to find the narrator likable. This narrator was awesome and the story was amazingly great!

A perfect Christmas read!

4.5 Stars. I listened to the audio version of this book narrated by Liz Krane. The narration was perfect.

This is a fake relationship trope. Macie and Aaron decide to fake date to get everybody off their backs about dating. They had some really cute events they participated in for the holiday season that really got them to know each other and bring them closer together. The story was fun and perfect for a December read.

Macie and Aaron were both very fun characters. They were actually great matches for each other (they just had to be convinced of that). This sweet clean romance was very entertaining.

I was gifted a copy of this audiobook. All thoughts are my own.

Sweet Christmas Romance

This was a sweet and clean romance fake romance story. The characters are fun and flirty, while still acting like they don’t want a relationship, they just want their families off their backs. The narration was pretty good, pleasant voice. I really enjoyed this story, and would recommend it.
