Publisher's summary

It's the most wonderful time of the year....

It's December on Castle Street; the fairy lights are twinkling, snow has settled and the festive season is in full swing.

For Carly, the owner of Carly's Cupcakes, it's the busiest time of year getting everyone's Christmas treats ready on time. However with her clumsy sister, Bethany, as a co-worker, it's proving a difficult task. They say you shouldn't mix work with family. Maybe they have a point....

As Christmas approaches, Carly is also eagerly awaiting the return of her best friend to Whitborough Bay. Liam has no idea he's been the object of her affection since their schooldays. After years of pining after him, can Carly pluck up the courage to finally tell him how she really feels by 25th December?

Could a little festive magic make all of Carly's wishes come true this Christmas?

A heartwarming, short festive story of friendship and family from best seller Jessica Redland.

Loved this story

I loved this fun-filled, festive small town romance. This was just the read I needed: a sweet, loveable escape with just enough drama to keep me engaged. I definitely recommend this Hallmark-y read. Emma Swan does a does an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality.

Cute Story

This is a good snuggle in bed with hot tea or cocoa and warm blankets kind of book. A little heart warming, a little love inducing, a little romantic. I enjoyed it. Its not too deep, not a lot of drama, not something you have to think deeply about. There is an issue that arises and its a good topic to discuss because its relevant. But its a story wraps up nicely and easily.

Nice story and Narration

Very cute story and I love the narrator. I really don’t understand why others don’t. She has a uniquely delightful voice and is not dull like others I’ve heard.,
The story is actually very well written.

mediocre

Quick review. Worth listening for free, yes. Purchasing, no. Everything was just mediocre. Narrator's voice was not matching the characters and kind of dumbed the story down. It was a cute Christmas Hallmark type story wich is great for the Christmas season.

British Romance Is a Thing!

I loved this story! I have long been a fan of British mysteries and have watched British comedies on TV. Somehow I have never considered British romance as a genre.

This book has opened my eyes to a whole new avenue of entertainment for me. As the eldest of 3 sisters, I can very much identify with the Oldest Daughter Syndrome as experienced by Carly in this story. i can empathize with the need to achieve alongside the need to rescue and build up the younger sister. A lovely romance! A lovely story!

Near and dear story to my heart

This story was very touching and I was I have a daughter that has PTSD meant a lot to read a story that connected with a real issue. The way that Bethany had to deal with her issues and thought it was all her and her sister I loved her through it, but took blame for herself and how she saw the situation excellent story.
