Mythology rocks

I have to say that I am not the most sophisticated person, but I do enjoy the narrations of stories and historical background in societies that, to me, have been unexplored, or barely paid attention to. The Chinese mythology seems mysterious and intricate to most of us, for the simple reason that we haven't been taught in school which god flew through the air or how the monkey became King. Especially in American and European regions, you wouldn't expect much of the folklore from the orient. However, seeing how globalization is dormant and dominant more than ever in history, I deem it necessary and a privilege to become more familiar with such traditional beliefs; though distant, they have become part of our world with the mere 12-hour airplane ride for some. So do yourself a favor and skip the trip, by just listening to an audiobook like this.

This is great

Nice book about China and the Chinese mythology. Yes, I liked the narrator and the content, both of them. Nothing wrong with it. Thanks.

Awesome

The narrator of this book was awesome. The storyline was great too. Sally Stephens has really dug into some old, ancient writings to collect the information about Chinese mythology. I like things like this. There was background and historical information too, and that helps understand the context.
