Publisher's summary

A celebration of everyone who fulfills their purpose through unexpected challenges

Until two years of age, Craig and Samantha’s son Connor was just like other kids - playful, verbal, and affectionate. Then everything changed. He stopped talking, displayed behavioral problems, and withdrew into his own world. The official diagnosis - autism. Faced with seemingly insurmountable odds, Craig and Samantha refused to believe a meaningful life for Connor was impossible. God confirmed their faith by revealing to Craig that Connor would one day touch the lives of thousands of people around the world. Craig and Samantha held that unlikely promise in their hearts during the agonizing years ahead. Champion is a spellbinding chronicle of the twists and turns of Connor’s journey - guided by his parent’s steadfast hope in God’s promises. Through the unexpected breaking of their spirits, the Holy Spirit was poured out, culminating in a miracle that has launched a global ministry to the disabled.

absolutely inspirational and uplifting

This book details the spiritual journey of Craig Johnson and his family as they sought to find God's leading and blessings as they raised their Autistic son. However the book is written in such a way that anyone reading his story can easily identify with it concerning their own personal struggles. I found it a true blessing and inspiration and would recommend it to anyone that has adversity in his or her life and needs a breaktbrough.

Inspiring, A must read

This book was very inspiring. It goes straight to your heart. Having a nephew with autism and knowing how life is because of it, this was a blessing to read. Not just about being understanding toward people with special needs , but being good to people in all circumstances and most importantly having faith in god and knowing there is a reason for everything. He does use all things for good. God bless.

Not the book for me

The narrator has a lovely voice, but I struggled to get through the beginning of this book.
I did not realize it would be full of biblical references.
I do not share the author's religion, so this is not a good book for me.
