Publisher's summary

Finnegan Temperance McLeary-May, dog walker extraordinaire, has had an eventful time in Manhattan since she first moved to New York City. Her unique profession and quirky, bubbly personality endear her to everyone who meets her.

Finnegan and her personal NYPD detective and wife Jane adjust to the realities of adjusting their lives to accommodate the two daughters they have adopted. One teen, Bri, and one tween, Luce.

After Brianne's graduation, Finnegan finds herself embroiled in a case involving the underworld of crime and drugs in New York City when she goes to rescue a dog in an abandoned part of a building.

Jane learns, as she is racing against the clock to save her trouble magnet wife again, that Luce is more like Finnegan than they thought...when she goes missing, as well.

The clock is ticking as their family collectively holds their breath.

Great.

I loved Case of The Shepherd's Pie. Book eight in the Unleashed series. Another adventure for Finnigan, Jane and their daughter, Luce. A little hard to get used to the new narrator. Connie Shabshab did a good job. But listeners will expect Claire Buchignani.

Good story, but new narrator

Loved the story, and the narrator did a great job. But it was a bit interesting to hear a British accent from the main character, at least I think it was a British accent. Not sure if the new narrator was Irish, Scott’s, Welsh or English, but her accent gave Loose Goose and Bri a more authentic sounding Irish accent. I guess I am just use to Clair’s accent and tone of voice, it’s just always difficult when there is a character recasting or in this case narrator change.

Great book!

I enjoyed this book and its many characters and story lines. This is the first one so I didn’t have some of the series history, but that didn’t affect my enjoyment. The narration by Connie Shabshab was wonderful. Recommended read!

not bad, but mispronounced words threw me off some

probably could have help if narrator had listened to books for pronunciation of certain words.

New narrator

I don’t like the new narrator. She’s not bad, just not quite right for the story.
