great idea but no

I loved the idea of this book and it did keep me wondering what would happen even though it was obvious from the beginning. All of the ingredients were there but it's like the author just put in 20% effort and that was it. The main character is oblivious and there isn't enough detail. ALSO the title has almost nothing to do with the book. weird.

Enjoyable Fun Listen! *Recommended*

With over 2000 books in my library, I have hundreds of boring or just plain bad ones I wish I could return or exchange. Sadly, this is difficult to do in spite of the sales pitch to join audible. I thoroughly enjoyed this lighthearted mystery and was sad when it ended. No gratuitous sex or F bombs. I don’t think there was even any bad language. Amy McFadden always provides stellar narration for these type stories if you don’t mind the valley girl sound. Good, fun, relaxing listen. Bravo!!!

Cute but nothing great 6/10 rating

Worth a credit if you need an easy “suspenseful” book. I enjoyed it but didn’t live it. Great in theory bc it’s original but just fell a little flat. Narrative saved it. Good mindless listen - great if you’re driving& don’t need to pay close attention

Kept Me Wondering

I couldn’t stop listening. Who isn’t who they appear to be? Maybe all of them, except for Emily and her business. I’m looking forward to Hallie’s other books

This is a great listen. The narrator does a great job, and story takes some unexpected turns. I recommend.

Easy Listening - Fun - Frustrating

I liked this story. A welcome reprieve from the typical, heavy suspense novels I listen to. Not an award winner, but good entertainment. Author kept reader engaged by quirky characters and a solid, albeit light storyline. I would seek out more of her work in the future.

I liked the overall story line but the ending was predictable. Great listen if you don’t need to pay too close attention.

Some parts didn't seem believable but overall it kept me wondering what would happen and I kept listening.

Sleeping with the enemy

I struggled to start.
I had to rewind a few times, to ensure, I didn't miss details. It got really good in the middle and of course the end.
