Valuable insights

Would you listen to The Little Red Book of Selling again? Why?

Yes. The information is actionable and easy to digest. The first listen for me was to engage in the information, i'll be listening to it a second time taking notes.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Little Red Book of Selling?

I like Gotimer's tone and no-nonsense approach. He's not robotic, is a strong storyteller and finds ways to connect the dots so the content doesn't feel disjointed.

What about uncredited’s performance did you like?

Gotimer won't be everyone's cup of tea. He's sarcastic and direct but ultimately tells you what you need to hear. I read other people's negative reviews, but they felt largely emotional and unfounded. Some people need to be coddled, and get up in arms if their feelings are hurt. If this is you, perhaps try a different author - ive listened to a bunch of sales books and in large part they all touch on very similar topics and strategies. Find the teacher that's right for you.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Gotimer talks about:-retiring as the general manager of the universe-sucking if you can't get past the gate keeper

Any additional comments?

I appreciate Gotimer's approach to learning and previewed additional books he wrote. In a preview listen though heard him tell the same story about the little engine that could, and decided not to buy the book. I'm sure the content was probably different, but it made me expect that all his books would be the same. Complete assumption, but just the opinion of an engaged customer.

Great Manual For Any Sales Person

This is not a book. It is a manual that you must continually re- visit in order to sharpen your skills in the sales arena. But if you put in the effort to work on the skills provided in this book you will increase not only your sales, but your own self awareness and stop blaming others for your own mistakes! This is a must own and must study for everyone in sales.

Lots of info

I was recommended this book by the founder of WrestlingMindset. He does sales almost everyday of the week and he was right. There's so much information in here. I really need to listen to it again and if I'm smart it would be wise to take notes and practice what Jeff says.

Timeless...

it's not like this book offers anything extraordinary or brand new. but the order the composition and the intent to be a real salesman is on point. to paraphrase a little bit I would say being a salesman is good, but being a prepared salesman is great.
