Good ideas in the book but (and it's a big one) the story DOES NOT help. The way the story is presented is such a cheesy and contrived way of telling a leadership fable it just makes me cringe - I mean come on - Argentinean maid giving leadership advice about how to lead organizations???? I don't think so... I don't know but I think it's time to rewrite the book Robin...
This is my first review I ever write, because I think it is so awful it hurt me listening. An endless thread of common place thoughts, not one original idea, the story feels lifted from Dan Millman's Peaceful Warrior and everything is glued together with empty phrases. It must be hard to come up with something new in the self help genre, Seth Godin's last book I read before was also very disappointing.
Yes. I feel that you will get even more out of it every time you listen to it. Masterfully read.
The whole thing. This book is a game changer in the right direction. Top of the list in the self-development category.
He has different voices for different characters which makes it very conversational. Holter Graham makes this audiobook better than a paper copy. Usually that's not the case.
Rather than present a boring list of qualities and personality traits, the author takes you on a fun adventure uncovering leadership traits. It will never be an epic movie, but it was a nice change to many other books on the same topic.
I especially enjoyed the memory tools employed to help me etch the concepts into my brain. I am passing this book on to my son. Had I have had these concepts ingrained earlier in my life, I think my world could have been even better.
I've read The Leader Who Had No Title and I'd recommend reading it. The narrator's voice is quite monotonous and doesn't personify all characters on the book well.
No. The narration should have more variety and match all characters. A single narrator can do that, but this one doesn't fit well on the story.
Very inspirational and easy to remember stories.
Very relevant in today's economy and the matrix organizations where one takes total ownership that is vital for a deep change.
It was very satisfying experience
I am a Clinical Medical Hypnotherapist with specialities in Auto Immune, PTSD, ADHD, Cancer, and Autism. I focus on very difficult cases.
I was a Leader Without a Title for years and years, but I didn't know it. This book explains the principles that if followed will lead one to achieve excellence in everything they do. A great book for adults, teens and even older children.
I liked that simple fact that it is told in parable form. The author created a fictional story that contained each and every concept to become a Leader Without a Title and in the process of becoming a LWT one will achieve true happiness and fulfillment. Because the story is told in a very engaging parable form the concepts are easy to remember, easy to apply, and easy to adapt into anyones life.
Holter Graham's performance was award winning. Changing the voices slightly to provide emphsis on the personality of the character. Giving the characters a 3D persona. I could almost feel as if I know each character so well that if they walked passed me on the street I would know them instantly.
This is a book that you will want to listen in one sitting; however, unless you are making a long road trip or taking a cruise it would be difficult to. This is a book that you have to stop and just think about. The concepts of the LWT are easy; however, the ramifications of actually implementing them are profound. I find that I want to listen to this book several times more to be sure that I have squeezed every drop of information out of it.
I wish everyone would listen or read this book and them implement the lessons it teaches. Our world would be an entirely different place a much better place if all of us were LWT.
This is a great bool to listen, It will set you up for inspiration and deep thought that creates change!

Leading without a tittle
Just the message that Robin is trying to portray is amazing and it can change anyones life.
I much perffer the audio edition due to the fact that I'm much too busy to be able to sit and read a good book.
they all played a great part!! I don't really have a favorite!
This book is amazing. Robin Sharma really goes deep into the ways in which one can really lead their field and ultimately live a more meaningful life. I've heard other books of his, so I did find some of the things quite repetitive, but having said that this explains his Leadership morals in depth and in much more detail than any other books he has written.
If you're into personal development and are looking for motivational and inspirational reads then this is a must. This book will definitely help you in many ways, it certainly had helped me and changed my view on alot of things.
"Not worth listening to"
I like the work of Robin Sharma but was very disappointed with 'The Leader Who Had No Title'. I only managed to listen for an hour before switching it off. I feel the author picked the message he wished to deliver and then fabricated a very flimsy, evangelistic fable around it which left me feeling patronized. Not for me!.
