This book is short and to the point. It was a good use of my valuable time. It contains basic, but useful information regarding 5 social media platforms. I listened to the audio version and the narrator was fabulous! He was the perfect choice to narrate the book.
The author takes the reader on a basic tour of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. You learn features you may not be aware of and how to use them to your benefit. I learned what specific kind of content Facebook allows most often, how LinkedIn can benefit my business, how to best use hashtags, why I should be on YouTube and that you can use Instagram to tell a story about your business.
The book is perfect for those starting to try social media or those like me who have dabbled, but want to learn more. I learned the most from the chapters on Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. When I started the book I thought LinkedIn was primarily used for job searches. The book made a very interesting case for using LinkedIn to show a different side to promoting your brand. As far a YouTube, the author explained what a powerful search engine it is and how you can make money from it. I’m going to create a channel and start posting my webinars this week. I want to be found on YouTube.
