I wish I had this information earlier on in life!

This book clearly helps me understand the concepts of gaining financial independence. I'll be retiring at 47. Not because of my 25 year job/career but because of the years of having my own business on the side as well as building houses. With this book I could have clarified my thinking and blundered less. I look forward to setting much more of my schedule. 😀

The book itself was wonderful and eye opening

The story itself is fabulous, unfortunately I found myself very distracted by the reader.. On track 14 you can hear that he had a hard candy in his mouth, and throughout the whole thing his breathing was extremely distracting. I highly recommend the book but if you are easily sidetracked by sounds you're not used to hearing when listening to an audiobook be prepared for that.. you may miss some of the story because you're waiting for him to inhale..

Good, not great

I liked the book, and it gave me some really interesting things to think about. I do not agree with the author on everything. It was very cool to hear things from a different point of view. The book helped me to see a different point of view on some issues and that is ALWAYS valuable.

Good Book on Changing Your Mindset About Money

Would you consider the audio edition of Rich Dad Poor Dad to be better than the print version?

I've never read the print version so I couldn't really compare.

What other book might you compare Rich Dad Poor Dad to and why?

the 10X Rule, the Richest Man in Babylon, The Book on Investing in Real Estate, beacause all are about wise financial investing and changing your mindset on investing.

Which scene was your favorite?

When his 'rich dad' offers him $2 dollars an hour for his job but he turns him down. Most people get stuck in a career they don't like but the pay is good without seeing that it's really a trap.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It's a bit too long to listen to in one sitting, but I finished it in under a week. I guess if you had a really long plane ride it would be possible.

Any additional comments?

Good book on changing your mindset about money, not great about giving practical steps to actually make money besides start a business or invest in real estate.
