Jason Fried and his company are awesome; this book is not.
I have a lot of respect for Jason Fried and his team. I hope my SaaS business can reach their level of success and product an awesome culture and work experience for my future employees.
With that being said, I am disappointed with this book.
It is full of vague mantras and advice. Some of the concepts they discuss (e.g. avoid bureaucracy) are definitely valid and useful, but they do not go very in-depth. I wish there were more details on how they built their own company and the process of making a successful product.
Many of the ideas discussed in this book can also be found in The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferris, and I would recommend listening to that audiobook instead.

Refreshing insightful spot on
I ran a business with partners for many years who did everything opposite that says this book and it really killed our culture and our productivity and just Nephi not enjoyable as much as it could've been. We could've done things much greater if we had listened to some of the lessons in this book.

It was just OK.
It was an OK read. Certainly had parts of inspiration and items for you to reflect on when it comes to day-to-day tasks. But those pointscould have been summarized in 20 minutes.
