This book is not what is promised to be "a sharp, jargon-free guide to the core curriculum of an MBA program". This is a collection of articles with no obvious connection to the MBA curriculum exept from being written by prominent scientists and researchers. Example: The first two is about adwances in medical research??? Waste of time.

i did enjoy this first part , i found the mind of a critical thinker, this, I truly love

MBA in a book. Sounds like it might be a MBA in a book doesn't it but it isn't. The first half was ok, I thought it might be warming up and start to hit some pearls of wisdom and theory behind a mba but it doesn't. One chapter is about dealing with press journalists, which is a bit niche. The last 45 minutes was name dropping all of the contributors which is just bore......ing! I never name drop, not after the Queen told me to stop. Try 'the personal mba' if you are interested in business tips, it's much more focused.
