Much useful info ,but the presentation was hugely marred by the author's intrusive remarks which he obviously thought were humorous. I found myself so irritated with having to wait for his attacks of "humor" to subside so that he could continue with the text. Sometimes his asides were quite lengthy and I found myself resentful.

It's short, so you can easily revisit topics. It's packed full of concise information...very little bs and filler fluff. This is a great book and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to make their virtual selfs better and appear more professional in this social media crazy business world of ours.

Bad impressions and puns. If you get annoyed by lighthearted bad impressions and puns then stay away. I felt it was fine.

There was not one unique thought in this entire book. The author, while probably likable in person, is highly unfit to narrate his own material. It sounds like it was recorded in the bathroom and he ends every sentence with "Right!" and then this obnoxious laugh as though he's made the most profound statement every spoken. I don't buy books to here someone else's impressions of Yoda and Bill Clinton. It's bad folks... very bad.
Cut to the point, save the grandstanding, and lose the jokes.

The book delivers on what is promises. LinkedIn strategies. LinkedIn is primarily for B2B though so B2C be warned. However, the concepts can be applied to other mediums, you will just have to adjust the details to fit.

Absolutely! It amazes me how so many people don't have effective LinkedIn profiles and now that I have read LinkedIn Riches, I have implemented John's strategies and made my profile client facing/focused. Reading/listening to this book will definitely help you make your LinkedIn stand out. Not only does this talk about your own profile, but how to effectively connect with other people on LinkedIn and how to stand out in that capacity as well.
The analogies and stories John portrayed and presented to help you relate to or understand a certain topic about LinkedIn.
Definitely his 80s references and impersonations of people. That kept it interesting even though LinkedIn is something I already wanted to improve on.

John Nemo presented the book himself which is always a winner and did it in a light entertaining way. Pretty much from the first few paragraphs I stopped what I was doing and got the computer out and started to do the tasks as he talked about them.
It might sound obvious with what he was saying but I never did any of it until he mentioned it. For the low investment in time (the book cost does not come in to it) you will not regret listening and acting on it.
John is an excellent narrator with great ideas. It's a little harder to implement the group practices in my industry since we're effectively not selling anything but his advice has certainly improved my profile and networking.
Awesome stuff, really helpful. It opened my eyes to the potential of Linkedin as a marketing tool.

Great tips for enhancing any Linkedin profile. It's true, most Linkedin profiles look like copied CV's for job applications, but John Nemo turns this around and helps you to attract more profile viewers, by finding ways to make your profile less like a job application form and more like a useful service people can benefit from.

I have been using Linkedin for some time but never paid much attention to the added power of my profile. Using key words in descriptions and not using the "CV" type model adopted by everyone else, will help you to stand out from the crowd.
