Much useful info ,but the presentation was hugely marred by the author's intrusive remarks which he obviously thought were humorous. I found myself so irritated with having to wait for his attacks of "humor" to subside so that he could continue with the text. Sometimes his asides were quite lengthy and I found myself resentful.

The book delivers on what is promises. LinkedIn strategies. LinkedIn is primarily for B2B though so B2C be warned. However, the concepts can be applied to other mediums, you will just have to adjust the details to fit.

It amazes me how so many people don't have effective LinkedIn profiles and now that I have read LinkedIn Riches, I have implemented John's strategies and made my profile client facing/focused. Reading/listening to this book will definitely help you make your LinkedIn stand out. Not only does this talk about your own profile, but how to effectively connect with other people on LinkedIn and how to stand out in that capacity as well.

Being in the real estate industry as an investor and soon to be licensed agent also, I saw Linkedin only as a social extension of my websites' (About Me Page) until I came across John Nemo's book "Linkedin Riches," which showed me how to effectively use Linkedin as a tool to generate leads and attract attention through sharing industry knowledge to potential buyers and collaborators using a more personal strategy that would greatly build myself as a brand within this industry.
WOW! THAT WAS AN EYE OPENER: From the 1st day that I opened my Linkedin account, I only used it to build up my network of contacts, however, I was not doing anything else with those contacts. Just watching that number in my profile grow that says " You now how 400 connections" that made me feel good. I was not leveraging those contacts in any way until I listened to the audiobook from John Nemo.
There is a formula for everything. There is a formula for sales, there is a formula for success. And I believe there is a formula for life, but we try so hard to follow the instructions that are given to us by society to follow the path that they have laid before us in the education system , they dont really teach you to think outside the box.Just going to school or reading the book is merely not enough. You must have a plan and then you must apply a strategic course of action to that plan for it to work. It's like that for anything that we do.
How do I know this? trial and error and listening to this audio book. It didn't occur to me that by doing things the same way that everyone else did, will NOT get me noticed and will only produce the same results that the everyone else was experiencing. Just blending in, is not going to work. I have to be different! I have to shine and think outside the box. I absolutely recommend this book if you are looking to increase visibility, learn more about leveraging yourself within Linkedin and any other areas of your life and how to properly use social media sites, to your advantage.

John's (the author) performance was relaxed and friendly. I felt like I was meeting him over lunch instead of listening to an audiobook.

I got a lot of good usable info for my LinkedIn Profile and prospecting strategies.
I was able to increase my monthly views to well over 2000 month which jumped my connection requests through the roof- I went from 212 connections to over 2000+ connection in just a few months. I NEVER ONCE requested the connection - it was all people who are interested in what I offer.. I am seen as an authority in my space now. I've also done a Radio Show Interview and I don't think I would have been noticed for it, had I not read and used the info I learned from John Nemo. Thanks Man!

John is an excellent narrator with great ideas. It's a little harder to implement the group practices in my industry since we're effectively not selling anything but his advice has certainly improved my profile and networking.

I have been using Linkedin for some time but never paid much attention to the added power of my profile. Using key words in descriptions and not using the "CV" type model adopted by everyone else, will help you to stand out from the crowd.
