“The best hands-on book on contemporary marketing I’ve seen. Highly recommended!” (Alexander Hiam, author of Marketing For Dummies)
I wasn't sure what to think before using my audible credit on this audio book, because so many of these books have far better titles than actual content. It started out a bit slow for my taste, but once I made it through the first two chapters... I can say without a doubt, that this book actually lives up to its name.
This is not a motivational book, filled with new-age fluff and stuff. If you are a lazy person, with no self-drive, and want to "use the power of your mind to control the universe???, this book will not work for you. In addition, if you already have marketing experience, you may find some of the information redundant, but I think it is still worth a listen. There isn???t a perfect book that could possible address every situation for every person, but at this point in time, this is the best thing I have found for me personally.
As I stated before, the information in this audio book isn't new, and there is nothing new under the sun, but I will say that the author's approach to delivering the content with real world examples of how well-known, successful companies have used specific marketing formulas to create customer-loyalty like that of fans of professional sports team; and how you might consider ways to use those techniques in your situation. Some information did not apply to my situation, but it was still good information nonetheless. If you only obtain one new customer from what you learn in this audio book, it is worth taking action right now.
"Marketing Book with Actionable Content"
There are many business books out there that are purely theoretical. '...The Clients Went Wild' is different, lots of relevant examples, case studies and actionable content.
The author also goes into great detail explaining the five principles of effective marketing. This alone is a great help to business people struggling to develop a coherent marketing plan.
I'd recommend this book without any hesitation to anyone looking for hands-on marketing advice.
