Enjoying this series a lot
This is the 3rd book in this series. Not only am I enjoying each individual mystery, but also the longer arc of character development across the books.
Beautifully written, the sense of place is always present, but descriptions never slow the narrative. Physical actions are easy to follow - not always an easy feat in books that feature a lot of action sequences.
The main character is unique in my experience of mystery fiction. Describing her too much would be a spoiler, so I’ll just say that she’s far more than she seems to be at 1st meeting.
I highly recommend this series and I’m hoping it continues.

LOVED IT!
Im pretty sure Hanlon is one of my favorite characters at this point. The storyline was great. For a chapter or two, I thought I was about to get a twist on the Agatha Christie book "And Then There Were None". I wouldn't have minded but this story worked out perfectly. As usual, excellent narration as well.

I love this series, perhaps because of the narrator who was brilliant. One criticism is I don’t know enough about the main character, but that could be because the author is waiting to reveal more in future books.
