Inclusive wedding book actually talks marriage

With the Chilla ethos, my spouse and I were able to learn and choose what was important to us on our wedding day. This book deserves to be listened to in a rose-scented bubble bath with a bottle of wine. Instead, I listened to it on my morning commute and instant coffee. Bridechilla kept me sane and I kicked wedding planning ass! Thank you so much Aleisha!

If you want to stress less over planning a wedding read this book

This book really helped me put the wedding planning process in perspective. It was hilarious in parts and so good I had to listen 3 times in the first 2 months of our engagement. By the time I finished the 3rd read,my heavy lifting of wedding planning was complete. If you listen to one planning book- choose this one!

Buy this guide, you will not regret it!

Holy s****, the bridechilla guide on audible?!?

Seriously amazing stuff. Aleisha is hilarious (I listen when I run and I had to stop several times because I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath) and she gives excellent down-to-earth advice for anyone planning a REAL wedding, not a sparkly, out-of-a-magazine or pinterest, fantasy.

Highly recommend!

The BS-free wedding planning book of my dreams!!!

Part life advice, part hilarious, and 100% wedding planning gold! I've been a long time listener of the Bridechilla podcast, and I was so excited when Aleisha came out with a book! Aleisha tells it like it is, and isn't afraid to talk about the real side of wedding planning. Of course she covers all the fun stuff like decor and cake, but she also gives great advice on the deeper stuff like your relationship with your future spouse and dealing with relatives during the planning process. The book feels like sitting down with a wise and funny girlfriend to discuss wedding planning over a cocktail. I feel so confident and stress-free in my wedding planning after reading/listening to this book!

equally enjoyable and practical

the reader/author is a talented comic and her advice is approachable and sensible. I ripped through her book in just a few days and will be returning to some of the chapters as needed.

Enjoyed very much

Very informative and honest while being lightheard with some humor. You may not agree with everything or a lot of things in the book, but I still think it's worth a listen in my opinion. Understanding another person's perspective on something is good and helps you look at things differently.

A fun take on the nitty gritty of wedding planning

After finding the Bridechilla podcast I found myself loving Aleisha’s style of providing feedback and insight. I don’t often have the time to sit down and read anymore so when this audiobook was announced I knew I had to listen. Overall the book contains a lot of great insight, humor, and honesty in regards to planning a wedding and maintaining your “chilla.” As with any book or post in regards to wedding planning you have to personalize everything to your own wants and desires. Just because something in the book goes in the FIB doesn’t mean it has to for you! Take the book as the light hearted, slightly vulgar, and informative piece it is and apply what you need from it to your own wedding planning.
