Appropriate boundaries

Would you consider the audio edition of Boundaries in Marriage to be better than the print version?

This book will teach, giving examples, about building appropriate boundaries in your marriage. If you are not married you can still prepare. Starting with good, strong boundaries will help you pick a better mate (for you), and make for a stronger marriage, too. If you are in a troubled marriage, it may be difficult to use this book. If the good will in the marriage has headed south, get a marriage counselor who is familiar with the book and willing to help you both build better boundaries.

Make your life better

What made the experience of listening to Boundaries in Marriage the most enjoyable?

My son married young. Guess what...they did not know how to establish personal or marital boundaries. This book easily explains possible boundaries and why. Highly recommended for anyone prior to marriage as it can help avoid many problems. Marital problems in progress read it together do the workbooks and move forward instead of the divorce court.

eh.

This was recommended by our marriage counselor - we have been through a lot as a family. I found this a "how to" for men wishing to reduce issues with their "gal"/"ladies". It was clearly written for men, but even worse than a NOT providing a balanced book on marital boundaries, I felt like I was reading a book from 1953. Chock full of stereotypes and preconceptions about male/female roles and behavior in wedded relationships and marital configurations, this book lost me very quickly. I listened to the whole book but it was not well written and definitely did not touch upon the more intellectual side of the complex unity of marriage.
