A Classic Western
Curtis Long has written a very classic western in this tale. Rip Campbell, the protagonist, returns home after being away at school. Due to the long drought, others in the area are looking at his family's ranch because of the deep spring found on their land. This book related the story of how Rip and his family deal with this threat. I enjoyed this story and I recommend it to others who enjoy westerns. David Gann's narration is fine. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Good western story
Westerns are not my normal preferred genre; in fact, I can probably count the number of westerns I’ve read/listened to in my life on less than both of my hands. That being said, I got the opportunity to listen to a audiobook review copy of Bone Orchard and was pleasantly surprised that the story was action packed, had believable characters – some likeable, and some detestable, and a story line that kept me totally engaged. If you enjoy westerns, give this one a listen, John Riddle’s narration fit the story like a glove, I really enjoyed hos voices and accents.
