This week hasn’t gone the best for me unless you count Casimir, the sexy ancient vampire, bringing me back from the brink of death (and tying my fate to his in the process). Not that it matters if the werewolves and vampires don’t stop their ridiculous feud, because someone is targeting them and widening the divide between our communities with each body they leave in their wake. Great addition to the series!!!
I'm not sure how I missed the release of this book, because I was waiting for it. It did not disappoint. The writing was great.
It is a tiny bit dark but not nearly as dark as Nicholas's other series. It's a very good balance, with just enough smexy times to balance out the dark.
The narrator is cool as well. This series is the first time I've heard him.
All in all a great listen and well worth the credit.

Adrian and Sage rockin’ the Mage & Mayhem action!
Thoroughly enjoyed the continuation of the paranormal magical world Nicholas Bella created to feature Adrian, human Light mage, and Sage, lionshifter/vampire/ Dark mage. Lots of story meat seasoned with savory erotica and magical spells.
Keith Folz is an amazing narrator. Just purchased the next book in the series, Dark Reckoning in print, but will watch for it to be produced in audio at some point in time.

Loved it!
Sage and Adrian are saving the world! One spell at a time! Well.....usually! New cases for Adrian, more drama for Sage. They are smoking hot together, with a little unexpected spice from a third party! Can't wait for the next book!

Better than the first book!
This book was an action pack! The characters were all voiced excellently. The writing was good, as always, with excellent world-building and character development. Now I have to wait for the next book.
