Publisher's summary

The future changes in the blink of an eye...or does it?

Miriam is a Saudi princess promised to another, a pawn in a political struggle that could shift the balance of power in the Middle East.

Seth is a certified genius with a head full of numbers, a life full of baggage, and an attitude born on the waves of the Pacific.

Cultures collide when they find themselves thrown together as fugitives in a high-stakes chase across Southern California. A growing attraction and a search for answers fuel their fight to survive...but with no sleep and a massive manhunt steadily closing in, their chances of surviving any future are razor thin.

Edge of your seat

Could hardly wait to see what would happen next. Great sadness and great humor with though provoking glimpses into middle eastern traditions

One of my favs

Ted Dekker is my favorite author and I have read many of his books with Blink being top 3. I lost my paperback copy of Blink (before it was changed to Blink of an Eye), and was so thrilled to listen to it in this format. The narrator was very engaging too!

unique idea, exciting story, well written

This book combined an excellent story with insights about relationships, politics, and the struggle to bring goodness into the world. Great read, couldn't put it down.

very intriguing.

Ted Dekker once again didn't credible job. Narration of it by Tim Gregory was spot-on.

Better story than THEOlogy

Really enjoyable book/story, for a fun listen great! Theologically interesting also. Seemed to conclude that “love wins” regardless of whose/what love it is. Subtly connected to Christ (“the greatest prophet”?) but not in the end. It’s a fine way to end a story... curious if it was “for” the story or “for” a subtle theological statement. Also raises questions about the nature of God as compared to Allah (cf., Do Christians Muslims and Jews Worship the Same God? edited by Campbell and Gnanakan). A worthy question to ask theologically and answer carefully. Significant results are born from the various conclusions (see also Delighting in the Trinity by M. Reeves).
