Publisher's summary

It’s the Cherry Blossom festival in Washington, DC, and two old friends gather for a meal, but there is darkness in the night, and this gathering will end not as friends might wish. Carlysle’s brilliant handling of atmosphere, pathos, and setting bring a steady increase in an unexplainable sense of unease that explodes in the final paragraphs to a shocking and terrifying conclusion.

Warning: This audiobook contains very disturbing and horrific content, and parents should listen to this story prior to allowing a child in their care to do the same.

Excellent Short Story!!

I received a free copy of this book for an honest review, but I didn't let that influence my review in any way.

This book is definitely worth the listen. The story peaked my curiosity as soon as it started, and kept me guessing all the way to the end! I would love it if the author put together a collection of short stories like this into one audiobook. I enjoyed the story, but it is too short and left me wanting more!
