Much more interesting than I expected.

I got this audiobook during one of Audible's sales because I have always been a fan of Arnold's movies. I wasn't sure how I'd like the chapters about body-building or politics because neither of those things interest me. I was pleasantly surprised. Even the chapters about these things contain fun and interesting anecdotes about what was going on in his life and in his mind at the time. His perspective and experiences are what make the book interesting no matter what part of his life he is talking about. My only disappointment is how few chapters Arnold actually reads. Although it may be difficult to understand him on occasion, his enthusiasm makes it worth it. You can hear how excited he gets when he talks about the things he's passionate about. I'd love to hear him read the chapters that mark major milestones in his life (like recalling his wedding day or the birth of his child). Still, Lang did an excellent job narrating and kept me interested through all 23 hours. I would recommend this book to any fans of Arnold--it really transformed my perspective on him.

A good book of a champion of our era..

i always belive ...reading things about a person, is often an opinion and only half true... this books just proves my belief...

Unbelievably story!

Even though is really an unbelievably story, it’s entertaining too, even the Governor chapters. The chapters I more enjoyed were the fitness and the acting ones.

A Great Book in All Aspects

This book is not just for the person that wants to work out it is also a book about inspiration motivation and trials by fire. for every challenge that you faced you learned something that you can apply in your own life. I would recommend this book for anybody who's looking for motivation not just in the physical world but in the world of business and mental strength!

A Must read especially if your a fan of Arnold this has easily become one of my favorite books.

An amazing life story

Arnold shares his thoughts as he recaps the many highlights of a full life. The positive message of "you can make anything happen for yourself with hard work and dedication" is a theme throughout the story.

Great story and incredible life

Greatest American hero who is not an American. Proves you can accomplish anything you want if you make the effort and not just talk about it.

I could not put this audio book down. absolutely awesome. Arnold's story is inspiring. Love his honesty. Highly recommended.

One of the best biographies I've ever read

Not only was this book extremely interesting, but it blew me away with how inspired I felt during and after reading. In fact, I read it 6 months ago, and still find myself thinking of lessons learned in Arnold's incredible life. It completely changed my view of Arnold. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone

I knew a few items about Arnold but this book was an amazing surprise. The work ethic, the hunger for changing it up and accomplishing his dreams, the giving back will... I’m just astonished and inspired. I would highly recommend this book.
