If you’re a doer this is the book for you, Arnold is goal driven and his mindset is bulletproof. He’s a great inspiration and role model of the immigrant mentality that America should love.

Amazing story, extraordinary man

Who knew?? Not me until now. He wrote a list of goals every yr that took him from Austrian village to world champ bodybuilder to making his first million 8 yrs after coming to US w NO money, or English. Real estate, movies, politics to hobnobing w movers & shakers in almost any field u can think of… including forest name basis w TWO presidents. Everyone should read this & internalize his values.

Great book

An amazing book about Arnold’s journey. A little disappointed that he only reads a small fraction of the book, but the main reader is a great reader.

Enriching and inspiring

I have no complaints other than that I really enjoyed Arnold narrating and would have enjoyed more, maybe the last several chapters with him talking about his tough, personal stuff. I really liked the values described in this book, and the ownership of faults and shortcomings. I also liked the acknowledgement of contradictions within one’s life. We all have our contradictions and it was interesting how he noted his.

I never knew anything about Arnold Schwarzenegger

But I have to say he is incredibly interesting and very inspiring. I look forward to reading more of his books.

Ahnold!

Really wish Arnold himself could have read the entire book. Other than that, this was fantastic. I already knew how smart he was, but it was still fascinating to listen to his life story.

Great storytelling and very inspiring!

Enjoyed hearing Arnold read a couple chapters. His ambition confidence are inspiring. He also tells his stories in a very engaging way.

Impressively Good!

Books that are this long have a tendency to drag with irrelevant information, however I feel Arny's story is so inspiring and entertaining that I never lost interest. A must read without a doubt!

Who knew Arnold was so great?

What an incredible story! I had always known that Arnold must have been really tenacious to become a champion but he movie career and then governorship shows just how amazing he is. This was very entertaining. I'll admit that I spent several hours at the gym listening to this book. Absolutely loved it.
