Amazing story. He had an amazing brain...he had more access of brain cell than most of us can dream of.

Loved it ! What a fascinating person. Great life lessons for ambitious individuals. I'm all fired up after listening to Arnold's story. The last chapter, where he resumes his principles for success, is as good as gold.

Arnold is already one of my great hero's so I automatically enjoyed this story.
For any one into bodybuilding this helps bring into perspective the introduction and misleading information that current supplement marketers have created.

And for anyone else, this is a man with big dreams and a funny accent.

Very well written

This book is very well written, easy to listen to. I would have really hoped that Arnold himself would have narrated all book (instead of first and last chapter only), but maybe that is for the best, because Stephens voice is also good, and easy to understand.

I could easily listen to all this with 1.75x speed.

Really amazing insight about Arnolds life. Truly amazing what can you do if you have that kind of "drive" in your life.

One of my favorites !

I absolutely loved this book. Arnold Schwarzenegger is hands down the coolest man alive. His life story is incredible and extremely entertaining. I am now a huge Arnold fan. This is a must read.

Fascinating Story Filled with Meaningful Lessons

Arnold's story is truly remarkable and filled with thorough descriptions helpful to anyone. Through goals and grit, humor and perseverance, and achievement after achievement, one can't be unimpressed by the amazing life that Governor Schwarzenegger has led.
Written very conversationally, like Trump's Tye Art of the Deal, Arnold describes his intentions, motivations, forks in the road, and professional endeavors with great clarity and heart, while incorporating interesting behind the scenes facets from the Kennedy family, celebrity life, bodybuilding and life in government.

Very highly recommended for anyone striving for anything or any fan of Arnold.

Blown Away

At first I was kind of turned off by the fact that this was an almost 24 hour long audio book. I'm glad I went ahead and listened anyway. I learned so many things about Arnold that I had never known before. I know so much more about his motivations and the way he thinks. This enlightening book has really made me look inward and has really inspired me to make some serious changes in my life. This book comes with my highest recommendation.

Entertaining and inspiring

I've been a fan of Arnolds since I was a kid. I liked this book overall. I listened to it on Audible. I enjoyed hearing about the not so perfect parts of Arnolds life as well as his upbringing. I found the story of his success to be inspirational as he was not born into money but made his whole life happen from the bottom up. The book seemed honest although I wonder if he held back some about his more recent mistakes. I enjoyed that even though the media had him looking like a bad governor in the end he really did a lot of great things. Arnold is not perfect and he admits that. I'm still a fan for sure!
Hearing the book in the narrators voice was strange at first but i got used to it. I would have preferred the whole thing in Arnolds voice.
