Amazon’s inspiring story to raise to the top
I liked how the story developed by starting with Bezos personal story and what led to the conception of the everything store. I also liked the presentation of all the hurdles that led to success, the description of the good and the not-so-good things that potentially Amazon did in its 20+ year existence.
At times, the story was progressing a bit slow, but a great audiobook overall!

Very good read
I very much enjoy books about successful people and how they achieved their success. This was interesting and informative, not a “fluff” piece at all. Lots of details and names, which admittedly may have been more interesting to me if I was more of an industry insider. It felt longer than it needed to be but overall a very good read.

Objective retelling of an intriguing man's life
Stylistically: While the author does admire Bezzos, he retells most of the famous CEO's life objectively, relying on several people's stories instead of merely retelling his interactions with Bezzos.
Content: Bezzos is a truly fascinating individual, with flaws and strengths, both of which Brad Stone makes sure to highlight. The complex nature and unclear morals keep the book intriguing.

Inspiring and Amazing
Where does The Everything Store rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Definitely among the top ones
What did you like best about this story?
It was very detailed but not boring at all. Sometimes biography's digress a lot from the main subject and start talking a lot about other people around the main character. This was not the case at all with this. Other characters were explored only as much was the requirement.
What about Pete Larkin’s performance did you like?
Voice modulation and tone was perfect
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were several incidents regrading Jeff's conviction about making Amazon the leader in unexplored areas.

I loved it. it really takes you on a walk of Jeff's journey. from humble beginnings, to struggling but talented entrepreneur, to "suddenly I'm a billionaire." everything happens so slowly, but eventually Amazon owns so much.
