Poignant, Bittersweet and Funny

Admittedly I'm a fan and have been for some time. I loved hearing Billy Crystal's voice as this chronicle unfolded. Also, I'm older and quite a bit resonated with me. That being said, this book tickled me and at times I neared tears. I remembered bits in my own life that I'd forgotten. Great job, Mr. Crystal!

Kept me wanting more...

it is no surprise that he is an awarded narrator.
I will listen to this again and again.
The stories, emotions, and relatability drew me in.
I would buy any of his narrations.

Birthday special

I had the pleasure of seeing Billy Crystal in person. I absolutely love him. He is hilarious.

Absolutely mahvelous!

I bought this book expecting some good laughs, which I got. But I wasn't expecting to have it tug at my heartstrings too. This was one of the best books by a celebrity that I have read. It was hilarious and it was poignant. LOVED IT!!!!!!!

He's not fooling anyone

Billy Crystal's Still Foolin' Em is a great listen because of Billy's ability to entertain. It is a great story even if you were to read it via the old fashioned way, but his delivery is essential Crystal. He goes from where he is now (circa 2013) to give the story a base and then his childhood forward from there. His story of family, friends and the happenings of life have a familiar ring to them. I found myself relating to him on many levels. Turning 50 this year myself, a lot of what he talks about up to this point I have experienced. It was nice to have Billy saying in his own words some of the things I have thought about and know I'm not alone in thinking them. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Crystal's. This will make you like him even more. Yes Mr. Crystal, you are a talent and really good at what you do. You are not fooling anyone.

entertaining

I enjoyed this entertaining and often funny view of Billy Crystal's life by himself. I can't say I'm always a fan of his humor and good forward less about his balls in the toilet But many of his insights were Doctor of o'kane and there are many laughs

Perfect narrator!

It felt like Billy Crystal was sitting next to me recounting stories from his life and career. He's a wonderful storyteller! I loved this audiobook. It would not have been the same if I read it. Hearing his voice tell all the stories was perfect.

A pleasure from start to finish.

I was already a Billy Crystal fan before listening to this book, but now I’m a mega fan. I was entertained by him before; now he has managed to entertain AND inspire me. I even subscribed to HBO for a month to watch “61” (which he directed), because the story he told about how it came about was so darn good—and the film itself is a jewel. How could it be otherwise, made with so much talent and motivated by love? It’s evident Love has motivated all B.C.’s life decisions, so it’s been a blessed life indeed. And funny! We all need to laugh more at ourselves, find the humor in things outside our control, and appreciate every minute we’re given with our loved ones. A pretty good recipe for happiness.

You can’t beat this audiobook, narrated by the author, Billy Crystal, because, he does everyone’s voices! Whether it’s Muhammad Ali, Micky Mantle, or somebody you’ve not even heard of. He’s such a great impersonator, why wouldn’t you want to get extra mask by hearing those voices?
