Wonderfull Story and Storytelling

Worth every cent. A amazing story about a man that we might not get to experience in our lifetime. Narrated beautifully. Well done.

Awesome reading

I love the book, it has a lot of useful insights of the life and experiences of a great innovator. However, what I disliked about the audiobook itself is that the Chapters are not named as per the book - I would really like to see that this issue is solved for other audiobooks.

Interesting to get the whole story about SJ

Would you listen to Steve Jobs again? Why?

I am glad to have listened to it, but it is too long a story to listen to it again.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

A brilliant but complicated man.

Any additional comments?

Listen to this book while making a beautiful walk, I imagine this would be the way Steve Jobs would have listened to it. It's a good way to get inspiration.

As fiction it would be fascinating. But it is REAL

I LOVE everything about this book. It is one of the most influential books I've read/ listened to in my life if not the top one. The book is balanced between personal anecdotes, business experiences and technical stuff. Actually it is not very technical. It is not only a good account of how the information age came into being but it also tells us in detail how Jobs influenced many industries with absolute drive, beauty and passion.

As I mention in the headline Jobs' life would make for an excellent fiction book. But it is REAL LIFE. I do not want to go into the details; for me it was fascinating to learn who he dealt with, from Woz to John Sculley to President Obama to Michael Eisner. It is not only WHAT we know, but WHO we know. He attracted artists, musicians, business people in his life just because of his drive and knowledge. His passion for excellence and beauty were non-stop; it is a good business tale on how to accomplish outstanding goals in the midst of chaos, economic crisis in Apple in addition to being stricken with cancer.

For me Jobs is an eample of determination. He never, never, never gave up.

Amazing!

Dylan Baker does an EXCELLENT job. I thank him. Very subtle and clear. An excellent narration.

I`ve recommended it/ given it to many friends, family. Everybody has enjoyed it!

He changed the world..

Would you listen to Steve Jobs again? Why?

Steve Jobs proves that imperfect people can still change the world. As a man he was flawed, but as a visionary he was a genius! I enjoyed the technological trip down memory lane as well as the background to the products we see today. I think the book is informative and honest and I moved from feelings of inspiration to anger. For example had he listended to medical advice earlier instead of arrogantly dismissing them, would he still be with us today?

I would recommend that anyone with a passion for design, computers or technology listen to this book. Steve Jobs was obsessed with producing the best product possible. I wonder whether we will ever see another Steve Jobs in this disposable, money driven world?

What was one of the most memorable moments of Steve Jobs?

He insisted that the engineers design the memory chips inside the Macintosh match the rest of the computer, even though no customers would ever see inside. That is commitment to design.

A detailed analysis but a fascinating read

As biographies go this was long and detailed but provides a fascinating insight into the work of someone who was clearly a brilliant man combining understanding of technology with an acute business sense. The book could have maybe been a couple of hours shorter and there was a small degree of repetition but these are trivial issue and did nothing to spoil my read. Was great that I could relive some of the events described in the book as all Job's media intros of products are available on youtube. The book also gives some insights into some of the other tech wizards around at the time. I'm left thinking what else jobs would have come up with if he had survived. A highly recommended read.
