Inspiring stories of endurance and perseverance. The narrator was very robotic and difficult to listen to at times. Listening required a level of my own endurance.
You would need to be a pretty big fan of Dean's to enjoy this one. I'm not a fan, nor am I a hater, I just think he keeps putting out books even when he's already said it all. TWO detailed stories of being in a convenience store? Really?
It should be mentioned that I'm an ultra-runner, which is why I chose this, and I was still pretty darn bored.
Tried to keep in mind that just because it happened to HIM, that still doesn't always equal an interesting story.
Well narrated, and I'm pretty picky about narration, so that's high praise.
I did enjoy the Badwater chapter, so it's not all negative :)
Narration was way stiff. Very professional and a nice voice, but it did not fit the book.
Overall a nice listen, but probably a better read.
