Awesome! Way more story than the film!
The film Lone Survivor does not even begin to cover what Marcus Luttrell and his SEAL team went through. This book and his story are awe inspiring, heart wrenching, hair raising, and in the end immensely heart warming to be reminded how Americans and Texans come together for one another! I teared up a few times with pride and relief. Great book!

Excellent
I have seen the movie, and it is fantastic, but this is so much more in depth, and the writing is superb. This is a serious and sad account, and Marcus Luttrell somehow keeps it engaging and, for lack of a better word, lighthearted.

What an incredible story!

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book, author wise and reader wise. Amazing, heartfelt, story that did an awesome job of getting you an idea of what Marcus was feeling or thinking in every situation. This book brings you smiles, laughs, and watering eyes.
