inspiring yet sad
Incredible story, given its true! I saw the movie and this writing really follows just like the movie. Actually, makes me like the movie more. Story was great! The death of the seals was sad though. A lot of pain in the story, but a definite listen!

Liked everything about it except for parts of the narration
Engaging story. I enjoyed hearing about what goes on behind the scenes while the SEALs are waiting for some action. The narration was okay, overall. I just did not like the parts where the narrator would overact—and read as if his voice was cracking and trembling under duress —in an effort to translate emotion of what he’s reading.

Very great book
There was only one thing I didn’t like. It took me a few chapters to tolerate the performance. The reader just felt like he was tryin to speak with a Texan accent but was fallin short. Lol
The book was great. The stories from his training on Coronado had me laughing out loud at parts. Knowing what was going to happen still made it hard to hear about his friends deaths. It’s something that should be heard though. Then hearing about how the villagers saved him was truly inspiring. Don’t pass up this read.
