Outstanding Book!!!
Would you listen to Lone Survivor again? Why?
I WILL listen to it again. Great story and next time I have a bad day, I will remember Redwing and understand my day isn't really all that bad.
What other book might you compare Lone Survivor to and why?
No Easy Day, The Red Circle, Acts of Valor, On Combat etc. Shows the true nature of a warrior. Also Service, the second book by Lurtrell. Another great book.
What about Kevin Collins’s performance did you like?
Passion. Believed in the story he was telling. Has continued this in Marcus's second book Service.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
His survival instincts during and after the fire fight on the mountain.

A Humble Navy Seal!
I’ve read countless Military War stories. They are all fascinating. They fill me with such gratitude towards these selfless human beings. I’m particularly fascinated by the NAVY SEALS, not because they are more brave than other branches, but they are thrown into the most hostile missions. In my opinion they hold the best of every natural gift a human can possibly have. The mental capacity and the tenacity these men hold is captivating. I rarely read/listen to a Navy Seal’s mission story that doesn’t show their arrogance. Yes, they deserve to gloat a little, but when you have a Seal that is clearly a badass, but also carry such compassion and humbleness such as Luttrell , you have a REAL HERO.
