The wildly popular YouTube personality and author of the New York Times best seller My Drunk Kitchen is back! This time she's stirring up memories and tales from her past.
By combing through the journals that Hannah has kept for much of her life, this collection of narrative essays delivers a fuller picture of her life, her experiences, and the things she's figured out about family, faith, love, sexuality, self-worth, friendship, and fame.
Revealing what makes Hannah tick, this sometimes cringeworthy, poignant collection of stories is sure to deliver plenty of Hannah's wit and wisdom - and hopefully encourage you to try your hand at her patented brand of reckless optimism.
Hello, my darlings! I am incredibly pleased to present Buffering: Unshared Tales of a Life Fully Loaded!
As a big fan of memoirs, I wanted to try my hand at writing about the events of my life that deserve a little more consideration than can be accomplished in 140 characters or a six-minute vlog. Now on the cusp of turning 30, I'm ready to expose some parts of my life that I haven't shared before. Before, it was all about privacy, process, and time. And now the time has come! I'm ready to put myself out there for you.
I'm a little nervous about all these vulnerable words going into the world, these tales about my love life, the wrestling I've done with faith, how I feel about sex and my family and myself. I've had a lot of trials, a lot of errors, but also a lot of passion. Here's the thing: I've always found comfort in the stories shared by others, so I hope my stories, now that I feel ready to tell them, will bring you some comfort, too.
And when you listen to this book, please remember: Buffering is just the time it takes to process.

Energetic. Heart-stopping. Honest.
Hannah, because even though we are SO VERY different - her and I have felt some of the same feelings - towards the people everyone kept telling us "were in charge".
I felt like they were both talking TO me and not AT me. I felt like I was sleeping over at Hannah's house, and that it was her turn to tell me everything about herself, like she trusted me.
The part where she explained she would wave back to her house after exiting - to go to school...so that whoever was watching would think that their was someone in the house. I used to do that too.
I didn't know who Hannah was before reading her book. I came across it, and I finished it in a couple of days. It was that good. And I was that connected.
Hannah opens up her life story in a way that is heartfelt and endearing. I feel as if I was able to walk with her through her story and feel all the feels. I have seen pieces of my story in hers and learned so much about mental health and self care. Thank you Hannah for taking the risk and sharing your story with the world!
Absolutely irresistible heart-rending story with hilarity thrown in the mix for a perfect balance of emotion...Hannah Hart is an inspiring strong independent female finding her own way in a messy world...if you haven't already read this book you should with out a doubt!
I was amazed at Ms. Hart's candor, passion, voice and (now pun intended) heart. Buffering is touhing, deeply moving in fact, and I believe an important read for those who may not fully comprehend the struggles of the system within which we much live and work. READ THIS BOOK.
Everything about this book was enjoyable: the honesty, humor, sincerity and content. I found myself near tears often and laughing out loud just as many times. Hannah Hart is an unexpected hero for me. I have watched her youtube videos and admired her positive outlook. However, after this book, knowing the circumstances she has overcome and the choices she has made to put it all in perspective is something I deeply admire. She has given me the gift of hope by providing beautiful insight that resulted from awful situations I can relate to. I've bordered on bitterness, but this book is just the light in the fog I needed to guide me on a more hopeful path. Thank you, Hannah.
I can't imagine opening up to a world of strangers the way Hannah Hart does. She is truly inspiring and her every thought and word is extremely well written. I loved every second of this book. It's both helpful and educational in a way that you just can't put down. This book is truly amazing and I urge everyone to read or listen to it. Though I personally recommend listening as Hannah's voice expresses her energy and attitude beautifully.
I loved it and I can relate to her childhood it's sad and hit me hard listening to it my father had schizophrenia and ultimately committed suicide thank God you got help for your mother we had tried for my dad but the system is so broken
