    "Bond is still Bond"
What did you like best about Bond on Bond? What did you like least?

Roger Moore is a pleasure to listen too, some humor that is almost over your shoulder and missed if you do not listen too closely. What did I like the least, I suppose I just expected more regarding the making of the movies, back of set fun and games. This does go into that but seemed to lack. It was too much like a dictionary for my liking

Would you be willing to try another book from Roger Moore? Why or why not?

Yes, a great voice, one I could listen too over and over.

Could you see Bond on Bond being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I have always been particular to say each actor who played Bond was the right one for the moment however, if a movie or TV series of this book would have to be someone with a great wit. Maybe Rowan Atkinson, John Cleese (yes I know he's been in the movies) or even, as this is a book like a dictionary of history, David Tennant or Matt Smith. You can take Bond Seriously but its best done, in my opinion as a retrospective tongue in cheek.

    Any additional comments?

This was enjoyable, but be a big fan to listen all the way through. I am glad I did.

    "The accout of a gentleman"

In this book the self deprecating Roger Moore tells the story of the screen hero, James Bond from the first Eon production of Dr No through to the second Craig outing, Quantum of Solace. Moore is generous to a fault, no only in his praise of all of the movies and people involved through to his donation of part proceeds to UNESCO.

What you loose on the plates you gain on the warmth and wit of Moore's voice as he tells us about his and others experiences on the movies. Being a personal friend of both producers, Saltzman and Broccili he has insight into the franchise that no other person has and he brings this into his narrative. Being invited to every opening screening and also being on the set for his seven outings as well as his personal connections makes this a unique account.

This audiobook is a must for any Bond fan or even Moore fan, even if you have the paper version if only to experience that wit and warmth that Moore is now famous for.

I love James Bond and I love listening to Sir Roger Moore, he was my first James Bond and who better to ask to cast his wry eye over the Bonds. He reads his book superbly, giving us all insights into the world of Bond with his humour coming across at all times. Excellent.

    "Dull"
If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

This is a book for Bond lovers but I like Bond and it was not for me. I found it sounded like a photo book with narrative.

What will your next listen be?

I like biographies and fiction and with that in mind will be listening to the new Robert Galbraith.

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Roger Moore?

I found that Roger Moore was sounding his age (sorry - but I do like you really) Daniel Craig would be great though.

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

There were some interesting facts on the films which were fun.

    "Boring on Bond"
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Probably worked better in book form with lots of accompanying glossy photos. Bit of a dull listen to be honest.

What a let down. Not only does Roger Moore have a boring voice but the material was boring. My husband was really looking forward to listening to this but he made me switch it off. Don't waste your money on this!
