Great read

From a USMC vet, this really took me back. Awesome read and after listing, I learned we were in the same AO a couple of times.

Amazing Story

As a veteran myself, I was taken back to some of my own experiences while listening to Kyle's story. In my humble opinion, every American should read (or listen) to this amazing story. I literally couldn't put it down.

Outstanding

Could not stop listening. Now that it's over, I'm gonna miss the narrators voice. I suppose I will listen again and again. The story is amazing and the beach ball story was my favorite. Thanks to the people that put this together and even more thanks to the military studs that provide our freedom. God Bless!

A great story from an amazing Hero

If you could sum up American Sniper in three words, what would they be?

Chris Kyle tells an amazing story of his career from BUDS though his retirement from active duty. He gives a great description of what he went through and gave me even great respect for all our service men and women do.

What did you like best about this story?

I really enjoyed the personal descriptions of the situations he was in.

Which scene was your favorite?

I really enjoyed his account of what would later become known as his record distance kill.

The loss of Chis Kyle is a true travesty. His memory will live on through this book and will hopefully allow many more to gain a new understanding and respect for what our special operators go through to keep us safe around the world.

True Hero

Hopefully this book well help reinforce just how much people sacrifice for our freedom. He was good at what he did and hundreds of people were able to came home to their families because of what he did. Excellent book!

Beautiful

It is a heart touching piece of work. The autobiography is of the best I have come across, it's so engaging and involving that you are very much immersed in it.

Awesome Autobiography!!!

I regret watching the movie before listening to the book. However, after watching the movie I knew I needed to hear the book. Chris did awesome job of making me feel like I was there. He even did so without involving any classified details. I’d imagine that was tough but he pulled it off. Chris Kyle is an amazing inspiration to others who are in or want to go in to the service. I hate how his life ended. Yet he still went out trying to give back to those who served our country.

A must listen!

Larger than life

I have lived my entire life a leader of any group I'm associated. Chris Kyle was a leader. This book should be read to men and women across this country who demonstrate any kind of leadership qualities to encourage and direct them in being effective leaders. It encouraged me! I have never served in the armed forces, but I have fought many battles. This book has reassured me that when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Chris Kyle is the epitome of a leader and a fighter.
