The "taking care of business" section at the gym upon one of the ships he was on during a deployment.

I was moved by the section where he outlined, after his discharge, where his work to help veterans was benefiting their lives and lifestyles.

I chose to read this before attending the movie, and I feel I gained a lot more of the overall experience by doing this.

This book is a true reminder of what it means to honor and protect our country and fellow Americans who have fought to keep us free. I could not stop listening to this book, it felt like you were having a conversation with Chris Kyle the whole time. He is so sincere and open about the good and bad times and I will definitely be listening again. Thank you for such a wonderful production.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about real people. It is a story about a man, and what it is like to be a sniper, before and after service, not about killings or espionage.

This is a great autobiography of a great warrior. You will have a hard time putting it down.

To hear the dedication of all the people and what they did for their country. The struggle of not just war but coming home to their families.

Just outstanding story and it makes it come to life more as it is a real story. It has a lot of power and makes you feel like you want to get off your ass.

A must read. Had to get after watching thee movie. Goes in great details in his personal and military life.

Amazing, inspirational story. I have the utmost respect and gratitude to all those who have served and sacrificed in our military. Eye opening story. Just wish there wasn't as much of the "sailor" vocabulary.

Best book ever

I read and listen to a lot of books about soldiers and war, this is the best one yet. A story about a true American hero that shows the perspective of what battle is really about. It shows people that may protest wars that it's not the soldiers you should protest, they are only there because of the orders they receive. This book is great and would strongly recommend it.
