Great book!

It was hard to listen knowing what happened to him. So very sad! Still loved the book.

You will be on the floor laughing one minute and crying the next. One of the best books I've listened to in awhile.

Needs an update ——-

Good, but needs an update. The story seems open and incomplete knowing that he was killed.

Eye Opening

I've never really known the duties of a sniper. Chris Kyle outlines that in great detail, and although some consider his killing to be unjustified I believe in the situations that he was in, it was necessary. The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the lack of a "g" at the end of the words. For example: somethin, everythin, nothin, believin, killin, etc. I found it to be somewhat distracting from the story.

this coming from a fellow veteran that served in the area of Iraq he was in spring of 2004.

renew's my respect for the American flag

this book renewed my respect for the American flag and what it stands for. gave me and understanding of what goes on over in Afghanistan and what our soldiers had to suffer to protect us. from what I read he was an amazing man and it's our great loss that he's gone.

Not possible to put into words

This should be required reading. So many Americans sit at home with no real comprehension of what it has taken to maintain those things that we love.
