Very intense. Kyle puts you right in the action
If you liked the movie, you love this book. They are quite different from one-another. The book are Kyle's direct accounts of his engagements with insurgents and countless stories of life as a seal in Iraq, where as the movie is, well... a movie.

Fantastic!
This book is very good and I enjoyed the tone and pace of the narrator. Usually when I read a book I speed read so this was a different and relaxing experience. So good hard to do!

Pretty good
Narrator was good.
The book itself was a bit confusing for someone who is not too familiar with military stuff.
He was a bit cocky in tone for my taste, but I suppose you have to be to accomplish such things.
I thought the organization was a bit confusing at times and it all blended together a bit.
Good book overall.

Great Life = Great Story!

Awesome story!
Loved the story! The only thing that I would have changed is the narrator's voice when speaking for Taya, it was not much different from Chris voice at all and a little hard to follow.

An American Hero
What did you love best about American Sniper?
I always thought Chris Kyle was a self-righteous prima donna. This book really opened my eyes as to who he was and what he was like. I was very wrong.
What was one of the most memorable moments of American Sniper?
I appreciated the parts where his "human" side came out and he talked about his struggles. His wife's perspective also lent well to the content of the book.
