When James Bowen found an injured, ginger street cat curled up in the hallway of his sheltered accommodation, he had no idea just how much his life was about to change. James was living hand to mouth on the streets of London and the last thing he needed was a pet. Yet James couldn't resist helping the strikingly intelligent tom cat, whom he quickly christened Bob. He slowly nursed Bob back to health and then sent the cat on his way, imagining he would never see him again. But Bob had other ideas. Soon the two were inseparable and their diverse, comic and occasionally dangerous adventures would transform both their lives, slowly healing the scars of each other's troubled pasts. A Street Cat Named Bob is a moving and uplifting story that will touch the heart of anyone who hears it.

":D ❤️ Loved it!"
Beautiful and emotional true story. Opened my eyes a bit more to real life problems. A great read to inspire the Christmas spirit.
"Good heartfelt book."
Being a cat lover I was drawn to this book anyway. I enjoyed the frank and honest way in which the author told his story. The book also gave me more insight into issues faced by drug users among other things.
"I want to know what happens next"
I'd heard about this book some time ago and sure enough its a lovely story. I now think different of big issue sellers and am about to search YouTube for bob videos
This book has been the most wonderful gift. I was very sorry when I got to the end. Bob has so much to teach us all. The writer captures so well the relationship that grows between Bob and James and how Bob is the catalyst for change in James. The narrator was excellent and I look forward to listening to the other stories by James Bowen.
"wonderful good news story"
I enjoyed this so much. loved it. Narration was ideal and all the story was happy news item. I will get the other books too.
"What a fabulous tale"
This book tugged at all the emotions. I could not stop listening and would really recommend as it Is one of the best books I have listened. I have just seen there is another book about Bob and I will be downloading The World According to Bob shortly
"I wish I had a furry friend like Bob."
Amazing story! I wish I had a cat. This book really captures the emotions of a cat owner. I really want to meet James Bowen and of corse, little Bob.
1 problem is the author could put a little more enthusiasm into reading it. But apart from that, this book is fantastic
