Little did she know that she was, early in his career as a troublemaker, defining the essence of Bill O'Reilly and providing him with the title of his brash and entertaining issues-based memoir.
And this time it's personal. In his most intimate book yet, O'Reilly goes back in time to examine the people, places, and experiences that launched him on his journey from working-class kid to immensely influential television personality and best-selling author.
Listeners will learn how his traditional outlook was formed in the crucible of his family, his neighborhood, his church, and his schools, and how his views on America's proper role in the world emerged from covering four wars on five continents over three-plus decades as a news correspondent.
What will delight his numerous fans and surprise many others is the humor and self-deprecation with which he handles one of his core subjects: himself, and just how O'Reilly became O'Reilly.

I enjoy Mr Bill on the O'Reilly Factor and have since Day 1, This me a window into the mind. Bold and Fresh? you ain't spinning for sure.
Very good as it told you about Bill O'Reilly as he was growing up and his background. Very good and just gives you a better understanding about Bill
Great stories about his neighborhood and growing up in this (kinder gentler) environment. Found myself wanting to know more. Easy to see how most conservatives could relate. Most of us had similar backgrounds. Pinging my interest all the way!
I truly enjoyed listening to this book. I plan on playing it for my three boys a chunk at a time because I think there are some great life lessons in this book.
I really enjoyed Bill O'Reilly's story and admired his tenacity or level of curiosity that continues into his elder years. I found that encouraging and found that once again hard work wins out again. His audio was perfectly fine as was his presentation of the material.
If you like the factor, then you will love this insight into Bill's life. Bill tells you about his life and how he became the no nonsense guy we all love (and love to hate sometimes)
If you like Bill O'Reilly, you will love this book. He is the reader and we all know how a good reader can make or break a book. If you grew up in the fifties & sixties, went to Catholic Schools, you will find yourself grinning and sometimes laughing out loud. One of the best books I have ever listened to!
